Development - PHP/AJAX/Flash AS 3.0

I have always had a fascination with programming languages and how they can enhance a website and its design. I began with ASP, Microsoft Access, and Flash ActionScript back in 2001. Over the past six years, I've added PHP, ActionScript 2.0, and mySQL databases to the list of languages I'm currently learning.

Being a designer, programming logic isn't always easy to grasp. Dynamic features like blogs, RSS feeds, and updatable content are just a few of the concepts that I have added to my arsenal of design and developmental tools. I've also begun to design my style sheets to be more dynamic, based on user input.

I've found in the past few years of being an instructor, that many designers have a hard time with the smallest of programming concepts. They think that since its code, it must be hard. My goal in class is too take the mystery out of coding languages.

This section will soon be an area where I'll post some examples of PHP, SQL, CSS, and Flash ActionScripting for both students and non-developers like myself.
